Carol J. Tevelein, 79, of Windsor, CO, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the Pathways Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Ft. Collins, CO. She was born on April 29, 1946, in Los Angeles, CA, to Leon and Catherine Kuhn. Carol was one of six siblings.
She attended Catholic elementary and junior high school in Los Angeles and graduated from West Covina High School. Carol went on to study accounting at Saddleback Community College. She built a career as an Office Manager, overseeing real estate investment properties, and also taught immigrants who were studying for their U.S. Citizenship test.
Carol was a devoted member of her Catholic church in Irvine, CA, and found great joy in gardening and birdwatching.
She is survived by her husband, John Tevelein of Windsor; two grandchildren, Cody Tevelein of Hemet, CA and Chad Tevelein of Oregon; and three great-granddaughters, Lisa, Avery, and Delilah of Hemet, CA.
Carol was preceded in death by her five siblings—three of whom, including Carol, passed away this year.
