

Cathline Nau was born on July 12, 1927 in Cairns Australia, the daughter of Andrew and Maria Kaissis. She was raised and educated in Australia attending Darwin schools in the Northern Territory. After her graduation she met Edward Nau who was serving his country in the military. She married Edward on November 3, 1945 in Townsville, Australia. The couple started their family in Australia before moving back to the United States of America in 1947. The couple made their home in Los Angeles before moving to Palisade, Colo in 1973. Cathline was a devoted wife and mother she delighted in caring for her family and their home and this was reflected by her decision to work from home. She was a representative for Stanley Home Product Sales. The couple retired on a peach orchard in Palisade in 1973. Here, Cathline was an organizer and ambassador for AARP of Mesa County. In 2006 Ed and Cathline moved to Berthoud, Colo to be near to family.
She enjoyed sewing, playing bridge and spending time with her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years; sons: Edward Nau Jr (Sherri) of Redding, Cali. and Andrew Nau of Berthoud; daughters: Elizabeth Markoe (Danny) of Granada Hills, Cali. and Linda Mills (Robert) of Thousand Oaks Cali.; sister, Rae Labourne
of Australia; 11 grandchildren: Aaron, Lisa, Sean, Jason, Ambrea, Sunday, Andrea, Delana, Ryan, Lauren, Ridge and 18 great-grandchildren: David Luke, Emma, Chad, Anthony, Nicky, Lisa, Julian, Peyton, Megan, Ahdi, Iden, Lily, Laken, Haven, Avery, Rourik & Kallae.
Cathline is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Frances Graham; sisters: Ann Talley, Frances Macrides and Veronica Kaissis and brother Andrew Kaissis.
