Donna was born October 13th, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas to Kathryne M. Naglich (Hoyer). She was very close to her mother until her mother’s death in 1999. Donna passed away in her home with her wife Becky by her side, on the morning of December 28th, 2020. She is now reunited with her mother.
Donna spent her life loving fiercely. She was crafty and handy, and always had a project going, usually to give to family or friends. She was a huge fan of University of Kentucky basketball. Donna loved books, cooking and baking, and laughing with her family and friends. She had a green thumb, keeping many houseplants and a garden. She was an animal lover, as well. Most of all, Donna was always taking care of the people around her. She loved being a grandmother and a mom more than anything, and she adored her wife and built a life with Becky on a foundation of true love.
Donna is survived by her beloved wife, Becky; her three children, Kathryne, Megan, and Eric; her grandchildren Kai, Rowan, and Campbell; her children-in-law Tom and Carolyn, and her former daughter-in-law Terra. She is also survived by her siblings, Doug, Marie, John, Mark, and Georgia.
Loving and kind, in all her ways, Upright and just, to the end of her days; Sincere and true, in her heart and mind, A beautiful memory left behind. She had a nature you could not help loving, A heart that was purer than gold; And to those who knew her and loved her, Her memory will never grow cold.
Her infectious smile and tender heart will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who know and love her.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.allnuttloveland.com for the Preston-Rich family.
