

Guy Prevost passed away on February 17, 2023. He was born in Rochester, New York on May 18th, 1947 to Willard and Marion Prevost - he was one of seven children. He grew up in the Rochester area, graduated from Charlotte High School in 1965, and then from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1971. He started working at Eastman Kodak Company during his college years and completed their electrical apprenticeship program. He moved to Loveland, Colorado in 1971 with Kodak to help with the startup of the Medical X-ray Division of Kodak Colorado in Windsor. He worked as an Industrial Controls Engineer at Kodak until he took advantage of an early retirement in 1999. After Kodak he worked doing contract engineering jobs at various companies in northern Colorado including Anheuser Busch, Hewlett Packard, Agilent, Woodward Governor, and Benchmark Electronics. He retired fully in 2009. Guy married Kathy Fraser (the girl next door) in 1968 in Penfield, NY. Guy was very generous with his time and talents - always willing to help family, friend, and community. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and playing games - but his most favorite pastime was taking photos of his family. Guy is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, a sister, and daughter Lisa. He is survived by his wife Kathy; two sons Scott Prevost (Kathy) and Jeff Prevost (Meghan), 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. If you wish, you may donate in Guy’s memory to First United Methodist Church, Loveland, Colorado. There will be a memorial service for Guy on Saturday, March 4, at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 533 North Grant, in Loveland.
