Jean A. Hanson Eldridge

Jean, and her twin sister, Janice, were born August 23, 1933, in Norton, Kansas. Their parents were Tom and Lela Wyatt. Her little sister, Judy, was born 16 years later. Jean attended Kearney State College where she pursued an education in Home Economics. There she met Bob Hanson, and they were married on August 16, 1953. Together, they created a loving home for their four children: Debbie, Rob, Tammy and Penny. Bob passed away on December 27, 2007. Jean was blessed to find love again with Bob Eldridge. They were wed on December 4, 2010. Bob Eldridge passed away January 26, 2022. Jean moved to Good Samaritan Water Valley Memory Care, where she lived until her death.

Jean was a talented artist and gifted seamstress. She devoted her life to her family, which she felt was her greatest accomplishment. She was active in her church and enjoyed Bible studies. Her greatest strengths were kindness, encouragement and empathy for others. She fulfilled her hope to be remembered as a thoughtful, considerate person who loved chocolate. She always wore a smile.

Survivors include her children and their spouses: Debbie and Joe Bergholz, Rob and Annette Hanson, Tammy and Ken Hansen, & Penny and Vince Rittenhouse. Her six grandchildren and their spouses: Bryan and Miranda Bergholz, Brandon and Sarah Bergholz, Vanya and Ryan Daubert, Bob Tellez, Paige and Chris Farmer, & Megan Winter. Her 11 great grandchildren: Ryder and Raimey, Taylor and Tori, Lukas, Leah and Leighton, Zayden, Myla, and Issac, & Ada. Also, her sister Judy and husband Neil Hesman and her extended family with Bob Eldridge.

She is preceded in death by her two Bobs, her parents, her twin sister, Janice, and grandson, Landon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 13 at the Lighthouse Point Clubhouse, 2148 Montauk Lane, Windsor, CO 80550 from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
