Jean Caroline Jones

Jean Jones, of Berthoud, Colorado, passed into eternity with her Lord and Savior after 89 full years of life on January 30, 2025. She took her final breath at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.

Jean was born on August 14, 1935 in Dysart, Iowa to Glen and Ruby Stein. She spent her adolescence in Dysart, where she graduated with the class of 1953.

She attended AIB Business School in Des Moines, Iowa in 1954, where she received her business certificate. She was accomplished as a flight attendant at Continental Airlines for two years, a home day care service for eight years, a cashier at Safeway for 13 years and a bookkeeper at Hewlett Packard for Mariott for 13 years.

Jean met her husband, Daniel Jones at Breckenridge Ski Resort and married him on June 25, 1960. They raised their two children, Mike and Dana in Summit County, Colorado.

Jean was a kind hearted woman, and expressed it through her volunteer work at the Community kitchen and McKee Medical Center gift shop for 19 years. She was a devoted Christian, attending Lifespring Covenant Church for 47 years. She served in many capacities at the church, greeter for Sunday services, baking goods for the children during Vacation Bible School and other special holiday events and she was always willing to help in anyway that was needed. Jean loved her children and grandchildren dearly and she was truly God's servant and so full of Jesus. She enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Dana Holmes, son, Mike Jones; three grandchildren, Bianca, Tanner and Teagan; great-grandchild, Gray and two sisters, Elain and Judy.

A Celebration of Jean's Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at Lifespring Covenant Church, 743 S. Dotsero Dr., Loveland.
