

Lawrence H. Pollock passed away on November 22, 2018 in Loveland Colorado. Born on November 9, 1953 in Trenton, N.J., he attended Ewing High School and Mercer County Community College. Larry moved to Colorado with his beloved wife Gillian in December 1981. Larry was self-employed in food services most of his life, starting in the family business Pollock’s Superette in New Egypt, N.J. His restaurants in Estes Park and Loveland, Co. included The Malt Shop, Boardwalk Pizza, and Lorenzo’s Deli. After his retirement from the restaurant business, Larry and Gill moved to The Farm to enjoy life in Wellington, Co. Loved by all who knew him “Big Lar” was larger than life. He was a kind and generous man who was always there to help his friends and family. Funny to the end, Larry will always be remembered for his warmth, quick wit and one and only sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gillian (nee Hart); his sister Nancy Johnson (nee Pollock); his nephew Dan Pollock; his sister-in-law and her husband Jeannine Brady and Paul Lovell-Butt; his best friend and self-adopted son, Justin Tag, his wife Jen and their children, Kaezen, Sadie, and Kevin; a goddaughter Aubrey Bibler and many special friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack H. Pollock and Bernice Pollock (nee Kivitz); his brother Bruce D. Pollock; and his godson Leo Bibler.
