Mary was born November 14, 1923 in Brookfield, Missouri to John and Lois O’Flanagan (Fox). She is preceded in death by her Father John O’Flanagan, Mother Lois O’Flanagan (Fox), sister Kathline Case, husband Wayne (Charles) Wilson and son Stephen Wilson. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Dutton (husband Russell Dutton); 5 grandchildren Lucas Wilson, Kelley Wilson, Jake Balloch, Abbey Dutton, Sarah Dutton; 3 great grandchildren Miles Wilson, Alexandria Wilson, and Garrit Wilson.
Marge’s favorite past time as a child was camping with her family. As a teenager, she loved roller skating and even worked at a rink for a time. Marge was married to Wayne Wilson in the fall of 1946 and started a family in 1949. Marge was a hard worker and loved her jobs in retail/Riches Department store and many others. She worked her way up to her dream job as a merchandise buyer and received multiple awards as a manager and buyer throughout the years. She worked well into her 80’s because she loved it. Marge was an angel, kind, loving, quick witted, funny, and a joy to be around. She loved to paint (she was an amazing artist), do crossword puzzles, Jigsaw puzzles, and walking. Marge always seemed to have a small fur ball around to love on; Coco (dog), Boo (dog), Koda (dog), and Tigger/Taffy (cat) to name a few. Marge was a kind, fair, loving woman who never stopped doing things even as her hearing and vision started to deteriorate. Marge gardened into her late 90s, even with her physical challenges. Her motto was “use it or lose it” and could be seen shoveling snow while in her motorized scooter in the winter time. She was a woman to be idolized.
