Michele Tomasita Johnson

Michele Johnson (née Gonzales) passed away on January 4, 2024, aged 65, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Michele was a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal sister, and enduring friend. Michele was surrounded by family at the time of her passing.

Michele was born in Laramie, Wyoming on January 8, 1958, to Don Gonzales and Nora Vigil. She graduated from Laramie High School in 1976 before joining the Air Force in 1985. While stationed in Italy, she met the love of her life, Kevin Johnson. After marrying on March 27, 1987, the two would go on to have three children before finally settling in Fort Collins.

Michele is preceded in death by her parents Don and Nora Gonzales; brother Paul Gonzales; nephew Sean Gonzales and husband Kevin Johnson. She is survived by her children Dylan Johnson (Stephanie) of Loveland, CO; Evan Johnson (Alejandro) of Mexico City, MX; and Mariah Johnson (Marshall) of Arvada, CO; siblings Loretta Kruse (Ken), Donna Roper (Dave) of Albuquerque, NM; and Dion Gonzales of Colorado; mother-in-law Rose Everhart of Kentucky, father-in-law William Johnson (Loretta) of Louisburg, NC; sisters-in-law Kay Boyd (Gary) of Smithfield, NC; and Kelly Holmquist (Jay) of Jamestown, NY; and beloved canine companion Bella.

Funeral services will be held on June 16, 2024, at 1 pm at the Allnutt Funeral Home in Loveland, Colorado with burial services to follow on June 17, 2024, at 1 pm at Cheyenne National Cemetery in Cheyenne, WY.
