Born on January 24, 1938, in Newcastle, England, to Herbert and Edith Elcoat, Pauline lived a life full of love and passion. In 1981, she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she embraced her new community and continued to build a life rich with family and friendship.
Pauline cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was enjoying a glass of wine, having a picnic, or simply sharing stories and laughter. Pauline's greatest joy was her family, and her warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her.
A true lover of the arts, Pauline found immense joy in the theater. She was a dedicated volunteer at Popejoy Hall for many years, a role she cherished deeply. Her passion for culture and her generous spirit made her a beloved presence in the community.
Pauline's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her daughters Lesley Franklin and husband Bill, and Vikki Onarheim and husband Kevin. She is also survived by her grandson Alexander Franklin and his partner Wilhelm, and her granddaughter Laura Twogood and husband Trevor. Pauline was a proud great-grandmother to Graham, Cooper, and Margo Twogood. She will be profoundly missed by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Popejoy Hall in her honor.
