Penny had the biggest heart and loved helping people. She was a caregiver, and nurse for many years, until she found her true passion of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. Penny found joy in assisting and delivering babies and caring for the mothers after giving birth. She wanted so badly to deliver her first grandchild Scarlett Rose, but was happy helping momma and witnessing her grandbaby coming into this world. She was so excited to find out she was going to be a grandma.
Penny is survived by her husband David Whaley and their three sons Christopher, Travis, and Justin, as well as her three daughters-in-law Brittany, Rebbecca, Alli. She will continue to live on through her amazing grandchildren, Scarlett Rose, Cooper William, Lucas Allen, and Levi Aric Whaley. She is also survived by her parents Terry and Brenda Allen, her brothers Adam Allen and Michael Dehghani, her sister Amy Kothari, and by her aunt Lori Allen.
Penny was one of the kindest and most generous people any of us knew or met. Though she may have struggled the past seven years, after the passing of her youngest son Aric Whaley, she still managed to hold on and continue to live a semi-normal life; but the loss of a child is something no mother should ever have to endure. Penny can finally rest in peace and reunite with her baby Aric up in the clouds and watch over all of us as our guardian angel. She will be missed dearly but her memory will live on in those she loved and cared deeply for. Penny wouldn't want to see anyone mourning her but celebrating the life she had and those she left behind.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00pm at Allnutt Funeral Home - Hunter Chapel in Loveland. Treasured memories of Penny and words of kindness and condolence for her family are welcome at allnuttloveland.com.
