

Robert “Bob” L. Nedbalek, 90, of Loveland entered into rest on February 10, 2022. Bob was born in Seward, Nebraska on October 14, 1931, the son of Daniel and Anna Rose (Nemeskal) Nedbalek. He and his parents farmed in the Comstock, Nebraska area. After graduating from Comstock High School in 1949, Bob married Joan Dockhorn and continued farming until moving his family, now including Robby, Sandy, and Bonnie to Seneca, Kansas. From there, they moved to Eaton, Colorado where he worked with Eaton Potato Growers Co-Op Association. In 1961, Bob married Cleta (Rogers) Hatfield and Steven was born. In 1966 he married Betty (Charvonia) Bernhardt who joined the family with her children, Jerry, Neta, and Vic. Bob and Betty owned and operated Brown’s Corner Sporting Goods and enjoyed a variety of opportunities that took them all around the country. They moved to Arizona and back to Nebraska before returning to Colorado. Bob was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed various hobbies from jewelry making to collecting antiques, coins and Native American items. Growing up on the farm instilled his love of gardening, which he enjoyed regardless of where he lived. Bob and Betty enjoyed meeting people everywhere they went and acquired many dear friends through the years.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; first two wives; infant son, Daniel Glenn Nedbalek; and grandsons, Cory Bernhardt and Todd Nedbalek.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Nedbalek of Fort Collins, CO; children, Pastor Rob (Lori) Nedbalek of Deer Lodge, MT, Jerry (Sandy) Bernhardt of Loveland, CO, Sandy (Jerry) Bernhardt of Loveland, CO, Neta Brandt of Sun City, AZ, Bonnie (Lowell) Jacobsen of Fort Collins, CO, Vic (Beth) Bernhardt of Fort Collins, CO, and Steven Sible of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Tara (Deryk) Nedbalek-Mayne, Trebor Nedbalek, Danyelle Hjorth, David Nedbalek, Matt (Karissa) Taylor, Seth (Tammy) Bernhardt, Scott (Shelli) Brandt, David (Ashley) Brandt, Dan (Shelly) Jacobsen, Becky (Shayne) Buckley, Rachel (Mike) Phillips, Ashley (Zach) Renzo, Brandon (Ashley) Forgacs, and Logan Bernhardt; 34 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, February 26th at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland.
