Stacey Lyn Avalos

She graduated from Eastwood High School in 1995 and received her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Pima Medical Institute in 2025. Stacey made her home in Loveland, Colorado for the past 15 years, after living in Las Cruces and Portland. Stacey was a talented artist. Her inspired art and commissioned paintings will continue to bring joy to many. She most recently worked as a Respiratory Therapist for UC Health in Longmont, CO where her work ethic, positivity and excellence was recognized by her peers and celebrated by her patients. Stacey’s greatest joy was her son, Lucas. She loved and supported him in every way, especially by making sure to cheer the loudest at every performance, in the theater and in the stands, Stacey’s infectious laugh and vibrant energy had a way of lighting up any room she entered. She brought a sense of warmth and belonging to everyone she met.

Stacey was preceded in death by her daughter Maya Avalos, and her grandparents. She is survived by her son, Lucas Avalos; mother Cheryl Crenshaw and step father Michael Crenshaw of NM; father Milton Rawlins of OK; sisters, Korie Allen of TX; Ana Olveda of OK; Jennifer Avalos, TX, Cyndee Hitchcock of TX, Rebecca Lyons of TX; Nephews and nieces, Jackson, Trenton, and Trevor Allen of TX, Davian and Isabel Morales of OK; Zoe Hitchcock of TX; Trent and James Lyons of TX; and Alyssa Avalos of TX. Aunts and Uncles, Charlie and Wanda Rawlins of TN, Sam and Sally Ferris of CO, Robert Rawlins of TX; Cousins, Jeffrey Rawlins of TN, Ashleigh Perez and Justin Ferris of CO.

Stacey is also survived by her extended family, Lucas’s brother Joaquin and parents Robert and Lisa Avalos of CO; Bobby, Ray, Lawren, Henry, Mathias, and Abbey Avalos, Alice and Darryn Asher of NM; and Richard and Vivian Nichols of PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service, Hunter Chapel, located at 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, Colorado. The service is scheduled for February 16, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. A reception will follow the Celebration of Life at the funeral home.
