

Andrew Taylor Stinson, born July 15, 1933, joined his late wife Laverne "Dolly" Stinson January 5, 2014. He is survived by his brother Henry "Slick" Stinson, his daughter Penelope and her husband Michael Ryan, son Michael Gardette and his wife Carol, son Rodney Gardette, grandchildren Daniel, Reginald, Lora, Stacey, Michelle, Melissa, Tiffany, Darrin, Christopher, great-grandchildren Daniel, Jason, Ty, Shane, Lelia and Madison.
Born in Longview, Texas, Andrew was raised in Richmond, CA later moving to Milpitas where he ran and owned a tricking company for over 40 years. Andrew then retired in Clearlake Oaks where he loved to fish, play blackjack at the local casinos and bartend at the neighborhood Keys Club. He was also a member of the Optimist Club in Milpitas and enjoyed going to Wild Game Feeds. He served his country in the US Army in the Korean War during 1953-1955.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Nita Lacey and family, who spent the last 10 years loving and supporting Andrew through some of his toughest times. Andrew will be forever loved and greatly missed. May he Rest in Peace. 'We love you, Papa'.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 11 am - 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 will Military Honors under the auspices of US Army at Jones & Lewis CLMC in Lower Lake at 11:00am. Following the Funeral Service, a reception will be held at Clear Lake Keys Club, 12980 Lakeland Street, Clearlake Oaks. Private interment will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
