Karen Marie Souza

Karen Marie Souza went to be with her creator on Oct. 22, 2016 at her place of residence in Clear Lake, California.

She was 74 years of age and lived a long and happy life.

Karen was born in San Francisco California . She then moved to Sebastopol California and attended Analy High School.

While in High school she was a member of the drill team and also a member of Rainbow girls with the Masonic Lodge.

At 18 she took a job at the Sebastopol Police department as a dispatcher. When she was in her 20's she went to school at Santa Rosa Junior College where she majored in art.

In the 80's she worked at a place called the Ponderosa bar as a card dealer.

My mom had many friends. She loved to tell jokes .Everywhere she went she had to tell you a joke, and she always made people laugh. Karen enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved going to the dollar store, thrift store shopping, camping and playing the piano . She also love to paint , make jewelry, and crocheting . She will be loved and missed by all.

Surviving children: Daughter, Theresa Holaway of Clear Lake ,CA. Son-in-law William Holaway of Clear Lake, CA. Daughter Paula Meredith of Windsor, CA .

Grandchildren : Diana Farwell of Sacramento, CA. Dustin Siedentopf of Portland, Oregon. Megan Roush of Novato, CA . Jessica Roush of Sacramento.

Great Grandchildren: Kayleigh Siedentopf , Kylee Siedentopf ,Kloe Siedentopf , Mia Bella La Monte , Nevaeh Niehuis, Brooke Outen.

Surviving Nephew: John Rather, wife Marylynn Rather, of Modesto. Niece Leslie Gerwin of San Jose . Jared Tenud of San Jose. Great Niece Angela Rather of Bakersfield. Great Niece Elisabeth of Bakersfield.
