Vernon LeRoy Hicks

LeRoy is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons Chris and LeRoy Hicks, Ron and Don Pate, aunt Willene Alston of Texas, cousin Claudette Haynes of Shongaloo, Louisiana and a sister Alona Vance of Arbuckle.

LeRoy took great pride in his workmanship as an auto body paint & repairman and was well known and loved by his many customers. His sportsmanships also included boat racing and modified car racing. He had the greatest respect for animal wild life, especially for his family dogs Sadie and Sam. LeRoy served his country in the US Army.

“LeRoy lived life to the fullest”. He was loved and will be missed by many.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service to honor LeRoy’s life on Saturday September 14, 2013 beginning at 2:00 pm at Jones & Lewis Clearlake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main Street, Lower Lake.
