Kahtrinka Ann Atwood passed from this life on June 12, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born in Scurry County on December 02, 1936, to her beloved mother Capitola Smith and her beloved father Edward Haney. She married C.J. Atwood on October 18, 1952. They shared 41 years.
Ann was a member of Broadview Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones, cooking, and being involved in her church.
She will always be remembered for her banana pudding as well as her delicious cowboy soup & the love she gave to all. Ann is survived by her one and only daughter Jackie Chavez; 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, two sisters Teneta Tyler, Frankie Farmer. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents & brother Edward Haney.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 19 at 2:00 pm at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with pastor David Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Wednesday June 18 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park
