

Betty was born on July 22, 1940, in Durant, Oklahoma. She departed this world to meet her Savior on August 30th, 2025 at the age of 85. At age 12, she relocated to the Clovis, New Mexico area and later graduated from Ranchvale High School in 1957, where she graduated early at the age of 16. She also participated in various sports, including basketball and softball.
Following graduation, she worked in various roles, most notably as a copyright and event planner at KCLV TV. In 1963, Betty married W.C. Eubanks and together they raised two sons, Jerry Ken and William (Bill) Eubanks.
In 1964, the family moved to Maple, Texas, where they farmed for many years. In 1974, Betty received her Associate’s degree from South Plains College and was later employed at the Cochran County ASCS office. In 1982, W.C. and Betty acquired Morton Insurance Agency, which they managed together until 2011. During this time, the couple enjoyed several trips around the world, including Hong Kong, China, and Australia.
They relocated to Levelland, Texas in 2005, and subsequently to Lubbock in 2023.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Lorene and Ira Cole, three sisters, Barbara Cole, Virginia Gamblin, and Dutch Chestnut, one brother, Bill Cole, and her eldest son Ken. She is survived by her husband W.C., sister Wanda Hall, brothers Dwight and Ronnie Cole, son Bill and wife Bridget, four grandsons, Brandon Eubanks and wife Angelica, Trey Eubanks, Stephen Eubanks and wife Adriana, Tyler Eubanks, and four great-grandsons.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a special relationship with each of her grandsons, and they have been the light of her life for many years. Her warm smile and kindness will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
