Services for Betty “Nell” Maloney, 79, of Lubbock, will be at 2 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Kingsridge Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Mrs. Maloney passed away on Thursday, January 5th.
Betty was born on October 26, 1932 in Lubbock, to Ottis and Dixie House Jones. She graduated from Lubbock High School. She married Glen Maloney in Lubbock on May 29, 1951. She was a homemaker and member of Kingsridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Jerry and wife Judy Maloney of Lubbock; and a daughter Judy and husband Stan Scott of Lubbock; one brother, David Jones of Chandler, AZ; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 pm.
