He married Jeanette Wilson on July 19, 1957, in Mt. Peasant, Texas.Bob was a long-time Television personality at KAMC and KCBD. He also worked as program director and on-air personality for KJAK Radio.  Bob loved sports and was the host of the Steve Sloan Texas Tech Football show and The Gerald Meyers Texas Tech Basketball Show.Survivors include his two daughters, Teresa Russell and husband Carl, Laura Grace, and husband Mike. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ashley Russell, Chad Russell, and wife Tanya, Aimee Swain, Brandon Grace, and wife Lindsey, Shawn Grace, Brandon Grace, and wife Valerie, and 13 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Howell; father, Felton (Buck) Howell; mother, Dessie Howell.
