Brenda Joyce Farris

Brenda Joyce Brown, born November,17,1944 to Chester H Brown and Annie Belle Burns Brown. She was the baby sister of Chester Brown and the late Barbara Ann Brown Mounsey. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in San Antonio, and married James Edward Lieck Sr. They had two sons, James Edward Lieck Jr. and Timothy Wayne Lieck. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her grandchildren are Krystal Renae Lieck Crayne and Jada Paige Lieck Luck. Her great-grandchildren are Rylen Viridious Crayne, Katrianna Rose Crayne, and Leighton Rose Luck. After raising her children, she enrolled in college and pursued a degree in Business, while working full time at Mrs. Baird’s Bakery for almost 18 years. During her life, she had several hobbies and pastimes. Among those were selling Tiara glassware and being a member of the Lubbock business women’s association and traveling the country. she enjoyed acrylic painting on glass, collecting and restoring antique dolls and clothing and working in her yard. She was a born again Christian and trusted that she would be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She accepted his calling into Heaven on october, 2nd 2025, 2 months before her 81st birthday. She will be missed by all she knew and thought of often.

Celebration of life services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Tech Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Park,
