In Resthaven’s Mausoleum Chapel. Cremation arrangements are with Resthaven. Mr. Nesteby passed away on Monday, March 21st.
He was born on Jan 12, 1920 in Clermont, Iowa to Alfred and Clara Nesteby. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII on the Island of Okinawa. He was married to the former Selma Gottlieb. She preceded him in death in 1995. He owned and operated Bernie’s Orthopedic Appliances until his retirement. He was a member of the Texas Association of Orthotics and Prosthetics and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Ann Libby; two brothers, Arnold and Lyle.
Survivors include a son, Greg Nesteby of Lubbock; two grandsons, Brandon and wife Bonnie Nesteby, and Chad Nesteby; one great-grandson, Gregory Nesteby; three brothers, Gerald, Jimmy, and Emmett Nesteby; and his special friend, Marcella Standefer.
