Carol Ann Rose, 71, of La Grange, passed away on July 31st, 2013 in La Grange, Texas. Carol was born in Childress, Texas to Ted and Jessie Pilcher. She grew up in Bellaire. She graduated from Bellaire High School and went on to attend the University of Texas in Austin. She married Wally Rose and moved to Lubbock where they raised their three children. She spent her final years in La Grange, Texas to be near her grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of La Grange.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rose; and her parents Ted and Jessie Pilcher. She is survived by daughter Kim Cook, daughter Lisa Deen (Mike); son Clay Rose (Jennifer); the joy of her life, her grandchildren Taylor Cook, Madeline & Parker Rose, and Dallas Deen.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 5th at 10:00am at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of La Grange, Texas 1215 N Von Minden St La Grange, TX 78945.
