Catherine was born November 30, 1954 in Crosbyton, TX and has lived in Lubbock since early childhood. In the eyes of the world, she was a person with special needs. In the eyes of those privileged to be close to her, she was a reflection of God’s creative love and joy. In the challenging times she reminded us that we are here to serve others with compassion.
Catherine was much loved by her family who provided endless opportunities for her to enjoy life through a wide variety of engaging experiences, especially horseback riding, travel, old movies, and many fun, family, get togethers with aunts, uncles and cousins.
Catherine is preceded in death by her loving parents, Camille and Perry Bell, and her supportive grandparents, I.T. and Frances Graves. Her sister, Caroline Bell, has been her faithful and generous champion all of her days and especially through the past 20 years. The family is grateful for the devoted staff at ResCare’s Lynnhaven Group Home who served Catherine with care and compassion. Catherine will be missed in her little corner of the world, but her memory remains in our hearts with gratitude.
