Clint Cowen, born on July 20, 1948 in El Paso, left his earthly home on December 18, 2012 to join his Heavenly Father. Clint proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as Vice President of Ennis Automotive Inc. for 20 years and cherished teaching the Young Married Couples class at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis, TX. Clint later followed his dream of starting his own handyman business, but his greatest enjoyment came from loving his wife and kids. His warm hugs and love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.
He was a loving Husband to Shelly Andrews Cowen for 30yrs, and a devoted father to son Rex, daughter Tracy and son-in-love Josef Cepak. Other Survivors include two brothers and spouses, Leon and Rene Cowen of Luling, and Ken and Fran Cowen of Tyler.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lorena, and his sister Faye Humphrey.
Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2012 from 5-7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10am at Indiana Ave. Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
