Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel in Lubbock, Texas.
Daniel was born on June 24, 1945 in Rocky Ford, Co.
He was raised on a ranch north of Ordway, Co where he graduated from Ordway High School in 1963. After high School he joined the U S Air Force and served his country for 22 years. On May 28, 1969 he married the love of his life, Donna J. La France in Pueblo, Co. After retiring from the Air Force he continued to work with cattle and horse ranching. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Darnell of Shallowater, one daughter, Catherine Barker of Tyler, Tx, two grandsons, Steven Daniel Gardiner and Matthew Clint Gardiner, three step granddaughters Kella Rachelle, Auriel Lynn, Sabrina Raynell three great grandchildren and 3 sisters, Alice May Logan of Ordway, Co, Joyce Johnston of Arlington, Co., and Bonnie Clouse of La Junta, Co., and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
