David Brian Light

Gravesides services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Plains Cemetery in Plains, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.

David was born on March 22, 1957 to Willford Dean and Elsie Ruth Light in Denver, Co. He graduated from Highland High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1975. He enjoyed reading, studying history and traveling. He worked as a Machinist for Scotts Manufacturing and Continental Gin of Lubbock and also in Los Alamos and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his parents of Lubbock, one sister; Dana Steinhouer and her husband Justin, two nieces, Stephanie and Sarah Steinhouer all of Austin and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Sally Light and grandparents; AB and Elsie Mae Carpenter and WD and Elsie Light, two aunts Carol Carpenter Lackey and Patricia Light Palmer; one uncle Bill Carpenter; one brother, Ronald Douglas Light.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to the Plains Cemetery Association.
