David Pryer

He was a loving family man who will be missed by many. He loved kids and touched many lives in the course of his wife’s childcare career. They all love and remember Mr. David. He also coached his son’s little league team for many years and helped budding athletes blossom.

David was employed with Frito Lay for 26 years and planned to retire this October and travel with his wife, following his beloved Red Raiders and visiting relatives all over the country.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Terri, two sons; Mark and his wife Tarin and Matthew and his long time girlfriend Johanna Sequra, two daughters; Crystal Rivera of Canyon and Jessica Pryer, two granddaughters; Gracelyn and Addison, three brothers; Dwight and his wife Anita, Ronnie and his wife Kathleen and Glen and his wife Jacque all of Hobbs, NM, his father; Joe Pryer of Hobbs, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Beth Pryer of Hobbs, NM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Trinity Church Chapel at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
