Over the years she has been described as one of the kindest and sweetest people one could ever meet. Others say that she was never negative or angry and a pure delight to be around. She had an intense ability to read people and respond as she saw fit. She went out of this world much like she came into it, on her own terms.
She was a woman of great mystery, never wanting to talk about the past. Instead, she would say that her sister (Ramona who proceeded her in death) would know more about that, especially when asked about her childhood.
She passed away in her sleep early Friday, December 12, 2025. She will be greatly missed, not only by family but everyone who knew her.
Donetta is survived by her children, Cindy (Doug) Hogan, Debbie (Eliseo) Jimenez, Richard (Kim) Thyfault, Tim (Joy) Thyfault, Pam (John) Heikkila; grandchildren, John Thyfault, Dylan Heikkila, Tosha (Robert) Toon, Jonathan (Krystal) Hogan, Kim (Shaun) Kilmer, Jacqueline (Sam) Haliburton, Amy (Michael) Smith; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Harvey (Ron) Keller, and her dog Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Maurice Thyfault; parents, Orin and Rosalie Keller; and son, David Thyfault.
In lieu of flowers, the family has chosen Charli’s Tree Toy Donation at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, for toy donations in memory of Donetta.
