He was born in Lubbock, on January 26, 1947. Doug graduated from Slaton H.S. He married Jeanne Holley on August 8, 1970. Doug had a career in management for Furr’s, Fleming and Robert Madden Industries. He was a member of Lakeridge Methodist Church and had a passion for Texas Tech Sports.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Melba and Donnell Holley.
Doug is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son Matt and his wife Nealy Holley; sister, Kay Reed, of Slaton; brother, Carroll and his wife Helen Holley of Lubbock.
Memorial services will be Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 10:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Lakeridge Legacy Fund. Online condolences may be offered at: www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
