Edwina Louise Hart

Edwina Louise Hart, 54, of Lubbock, Texas passed way on Friday in Lubbock, Texas. The family will receive friends for sharing time and visitation on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 in The Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. With Bro. Jim Brown officiating.

Edwina was born in Pecos, Texas, December 29, 1959; she moved to Lubbock as a child and grew up in Lubbock. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1978 and at-tended South Plains College. She married the love of her life John Charles Hart on July 21 1993. She worked primarily in Telecommunications and Direct Sales. She loved the Lord and was a member of Monterey Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Louise Dyson in December of 1995 and her father James Arthur Dyson, August of 2000.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband John Charles Hart; daughter, Melissa Dawn Hart; step son, Jevon Hart; brother, Claude Dyson; a cousin whom she considered a sister Tena Nelson; and her loving mother-in-law Louise Hart.

Memorial Donations can be made to Arthritis Foundation, Heart Foundation, or Alzheimer’s foundation or to a Charity of your choice.

Edwina used these words to express her love for life, “Laugh, Love, and Live like you were dying every day”.
