Elizabeth Campbell

Elizabeth Campbell entered into life on March 16th, 1937. She was a granddaughter, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Elizabeth will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

She was the daughter of Willie Lee Carroll and Ike Tucker. As a typical teenager, Elizabeth had a fairly happy high school experience, graduating from Odessa High School. She enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.

Elizabeth worked hard to be a good mother and did her best to fulfill their needs. She was blessed with five children, two sons, Ronnie & Gary, and three daughters, Sharon, Debbie & Sheila.

Elizabeth was also fortunate enough to enjoy what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Elizabeth worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Eventually she retired from Mrs. Baird's Bakery in 2003. Always active, she most recently worked at Van's Quick Stop as a sales representative. Elizabeth always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Elizabeth’s faith was important to her as well, and she was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Happy, TX. Elizabeth was also a lover of animals. She cherished her yorkie, Benji.

Elizabeth entered into rest Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at Lubbock Heart Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter, Sheila Pinkston, daughter, Sharon Moore, and son, Ronnie Tomlinson. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Gary Tomlinson & Carrie, daughter Debbie Sumner & Keith, brother, Bo, sisters, Inez and Dean, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Friday, April 7th, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. A funeral service will take place Saturday, April 8th, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers are Dusty Tomlinson, Cole Sumner, Tristan Tomlinson, Schyler Tomlinson, Todd Collier, Toby Collier, Chase Buchner, Levi Buchner, Jake Robbins and Trent Moore.
