Ester Rose Cruz

The family of Ester Rose Cruz will recite the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wolfforth.  She passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 11, 2021, after a long illness, surrounded by her family and friends. We invite you to sign her virtual guestbook.On January 15, 1938, Ester was born to the late Jesse and Antonia Palacios in Rosebud, TX. She married Manuel Cruz on December 26, 1958, in Lubbock County. Ester worked for the Frenship Independent School District for over twenty-six years.  She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, as well as the St. Francis Wolfforth Guadalupanas.Ester is preceded in death by her parents and sister Guadalupe P. Vasquez.Survivors include her husband, Manuel Cruz; sons, Raul Cruz, and Armando Cruz; daughters, Maria Antonia Cruz, and Linda Kay Salas; daughter-in-law, Esther Cruz, and Son-in-law, Juan Enrique Salas; grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Cruz, Lauren Nicole Cruz, Matthew John Salas, and Genevieve Cruz; great-grandchildren, Brynn Theresa Cruz and Adeline Mary Cruz.
