Everett LeRoy Douglas of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on August 19, 2025. He was born in Weldon, Colorado, on July 12, 1931. He was married to Ida Bramhall on September 18, 2018. His first wife was Garnetta Douglass; his second wife was Rosa Douglas.
He worked on 18-wheelers, specializing in the front end for companies such as Kmart in Colorado, McWhorter, and his family. He was a Member of the VFW and Western swing.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Bramhall, and his children: Randall Douglass, Cynthia and Berton Styles, Garnie Douglass, and his grandchildren: Randall Duane and Samantha Douglass, Hera and Perry Runyan, Raven Douglass and Eric Rios. Great-Grandchildren: Travis Douglass, Jiraiya Rios, and Bond Runyan
A visitation for Everett will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407. A memorial service will occur Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery.
