Florence Mary Jones

Florence “Flo” Jones, 65, of Lubbock passed away on Feb-ruary 8, 2014 in Lubbock, Tex-as surrounded by her family. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday February 15, 2014 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church at 2:00pm.

Flo was born on October 13, 1948 in Rockland County, New York to the late Thomas and Florence (Hackett) McCarthy. She attended school in New York. She moved to Texas in 1977 and never lost her love for her home state. She mar-ried the late Walter Jones in 1996. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She was a loving per-son with a warm spirit. She enjoyed life and seized any moment to get a good laugh in. One of the greatest joys in Flo’s life was her grand-children who she shared a special relationship with.

She is survived by two sons, Chris and wife Stacy Williams, Dan Williams; 3 grandchildren Keegan, Lauren, and McKen-na; one brother, Tom McCar-thy and wife Candy; three step daughters, Nancy Geiter , Shirley Sauers, and Carolyn Comeaux.
