Freddy Dean Cole

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10 am at West Texas Church at The Barn, with Rev Ted Currington officiating, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, from 6-8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Fred was born on December 3, 1945 in Achille, Ok to Lonnie and Dorothy Cole. He married Ruth Terrell on July 1, 1966 in Dallas, Tx.

He was a long time member of the Shallowater Volunteer Fire Department, Shallowater Lions Club and West Texas Church at The Barn. He retired from Texas Instruments and began his own business as owner/operator of FDC Trading Company.

Fred is survived by his wife Ruth Cole of Shallowater, three children Brian Cole of Lubbock, Angela Brunott and her husband Chad of Boerne, Tx and Matthew Cole and his wife Stephanie of Shallowater; one sister, Freida Sorters of Greenville, Tx; one brother, Vick Cole of Achille, Ok. Pawpaw will be missed by his six grandchildren; Austin Mead, Marcus Armstrong, Cole Brunott, Zachary Cole, Alyssa Brunott and Jaxon Cole.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Fred Cole’s name at any local Wells Fargo Bank.
