Glenna D. Calvert

It was in Crescent, Ok where Glenna met the love of her life, George. Together they shared over 70 years and raised 2 daughters. Glenna and George shared traditional household domestications; she always made sure there w was home cooked meals, clean house, clean clothes and her family was taken care of. She was an avid reader in her free time and her joyous moments were spent surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years, George Calvert; and her sister, Madonna Huston. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Carla Holt of Lubbock, TX and Carol Lowe of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren: Jason and Reagan Rudder, Christa Sweeney, Jeffrey Holt; great-grandchildren, Finley Rudder and Ayla Sweeney; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family invites you to join them as her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 with a 10am visitation and 11:30 Graveside service at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

Monetary donations in Glenna’s honor are appreciated to South Plains Foodbank or Ronald McDonald House of the South Plains.
