Guy Arden Goodspeed, 48, passed away Saturday June 8, 2013 at his home in Midland. Guy was born August 12, 1964 in Abilene, TX to Fred and Irene Goodspeed. He was an avid sports fan particularly baseball. He was fun loving, a jokester and loved to Barbeque.
Guy is survived by his son, Guy Arden Goodspeed Jr of San Marcos, TX; daughters Brandi Rene and Kailani Goodspeed both of Del Rio, TX; sister, Melinda Goodspeed of Lubbock, TX; father, Fred Goodspeed of Helotes, TX; grandfather, Fred Goodspeed of Nashua, N.H.; grandmother, Clara Burgess of Manchester, N.H.; Anita and Ruben Castillo , Bob and Linda Corbell all of Del Rio, TX, Robert and Stephanie Castillo of Corona, CA and Ruben Castillo of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene, Irene’s father Albert Burges and grandmother Florence Goodspeed.
Visitation will be Thursday June 13 from 5 to 7 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Friday June 14 at 2 pm in Resthaven Memorial Park.
