Hector B. Pina, age 56, of Lubbock, passed away January 9, 2016. Hector is the son of Aurelio and Minerva Pina born in Lubbock on December 14, 1959. He has worked in the construction industry for Henley Interiors for over 20 years. An avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, horseshoe and softball player, great BBQ cook, he enjoyed his family and friends most-especially his children and two beautiful granddaughters.
Hector had a heart for the elderly and had a personality that drew people in. He was a member of the Cursillistas at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, his wife of 36 years, Diana Pina; two sons, Michael Pina and Bryan Pina; two granddaughters Arianna Pina and Aliyaah Pina; siblings, Aurelio Pina Jr. (Dolores Vecchio) Rosemary (Freddie) Hicks; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
