He was born September 4, 1937, in Hugo Oklahoma, a son of late Earnest Jack Collins and Johnnie Dollar Collins.
Jack enjoyed fishing, camping, sitting around the fire pit, cookouts and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jamie Nelson Collins; one daughter, DeRai Collins; one brother, Lindel Collins, two sisters, Evelyn Griggs and Sandy Shannon; one grandson Cory Collins.
Jack is survived by one son, Michael Collins (Erin) of Lubbock, Texas; one daughter, Delaina Collins of Lubbock, Texas; one sister Norma Facer of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Ronald Collins of Louisa, Virginia and Eddie Collins of Lubbock, Texas; two grandchildren, Crystal Collins and Aevry Collins; two great grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
