James is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 65 years Lillian Fern Tipton Tuggle. He is survived by daughter, Laura Baxley; son, Jimmy and wife Jennifer Tuggle; granddaughters: Kristy Black and husband Michael Black, Emaline Tuggle, Katlyn and Kylee Copeland; grandsons: Cory Baxley, Hunter Tuggle, Colton and Annabelle Tuggle, Sawyer Tuggle, J.W. Copeland and Haley ; and three great-grandchildren, Lilee Simpson, Damion Black, and Delaney Copeland
James entered into the Air force in February of 1955 and was discharged in Clovis NM in November of 1964. James received his GED in the Air Force then was employed with Cement & Supply for 22years.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday August 20th, 2024 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday August 21st, 2024 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas.
