Jaquieta, known to many as “Jackie”, or “Sissy” or even “Grandma Jackie”, was born November 7, 1947, to James Loy and Gladys Lynch Gray in Lubbock, TX. She was a much loved fixture of the Texas Tech Alumni Association for over a quarter century, where she shared her sweet nature, her sense of humor, and her love of Elvis, with all.
Jackie is survived by her son, Todd Gray, his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Gavin and Holden Gray; sister, Patti Mitchell and niece Tamara.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys Gray; brothers, Loy Gene, Billy, Tommy, Dan, Jimmy, and James.
