She was born August 15, 1927 in Plainview, Texas, to the late Daniel and Ethel Kimball.
She married Everett Raymond Martin in 1946, they moved to Amarillo, Texas, where they were members of Southside Church of Christ.
She was a loving wife, mother to her three children and care giver to those that needed it most. Jean was a passionate homemaker, she spent her life devoted to the work of cooking, cleaning and tending to her family.
Her family remembers the summers spent on the farm, gardening, swinging on the tire and family reunions filled with watermelon.
She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Billy June McNulty, of Lubbock, Texas; and her siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Dale and Gwen Martin, of Lubbock, Texas, Paul and Sharen Martin, of Conifer, CO.; son-in-law, James McNulty, of Lubbock, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
