Jerry Don Cooper

Jerry spent his youth in Morton, graduating from Morton High School. He married Judy Hale

He was employed as a locksmith at Texas Tech for many years. He also served as associate pastor for Central Baptist Church of Lubbock.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, George Cooper, Jr. son, Jerry Wayne Cooper and step-father, Dewey Kellar.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are mother, Louella Kellar of San Angelo, Texas, son, Jeffery Cooper and wife, Rebecca, of Lubbock, step daughter, Elizabeth Maxwell and husband John of Houston, grandchildren, Shelby and Brandon Cooper of Lubbock, Nathan Maxwell of Houston and a brother, George Cooper,III and wife Betty of San Angelo.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Heart Association 2514 82st, Ste B Lubbock, Texas 79423 or American Diabetes Association 8008 slide Road, Lubbock, Tx 79424.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church at 1pm, Friday, March 4, 2011 with Rev. George Cooper, III officiating.
