Jerry Preston

He was born in Wichita, Kansas in July of 1954. He graduated from Bellaire High School and received a Physics Degree from Texas Tech University.

Jerry was married to Linda Jewel Tanner on September 7, 1984. He spent his career in computer software with Texas Instruments and was self-employed for the last 13 years. Jerry was a member of the US Philatelic Classics Society and had a passion for music, stamp collecting, and cooking.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, a daughter; Cindy Scott Henegar and husband Lance, two sons; Milton Scott and Michael Scott and wife Nona, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 5 great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Jerry's life will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 1 PM at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
