Visitation will be 4 to 6pm on Wednesday, March 8th, at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday March 9th at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Joe was born in Bonham, Texas to Carl and Ruby Jackson on July 20, 1937. He attended school in Wolfforth, Texas. Joe and former spouse, Donna had four children together who they adored. Joe had a fascination with automobiles from an early age and worked as an auto mechanic and owned his own shop, Joe Jackson’s Transmission, for 30 years. Joe served honorably in the army for two years.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ruby Jackson, sister Francis Harper, and daughter Betty Jo Jackson.
Joe is survived by former spouse Donna Jackson; children: Wes and Sharla Jackson, Travis Jackson, and Aprile Tokar; sister Debbie Foster and husband Bill; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Aaron Aday, Asher Cauley, Joe Chaney, Austin Jackson, Ross Jackson, Travis Jackson and Wes Jackson.
