John Scott Estes

The family of Scott Estes will celebrate his life of 53 years at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.  He passed on Sunday, April 3, 2022.  We invite you to view the live-streamed service on this page and sign his virtual guestbook.Scott was born in Houston, Texas to Johnny Frank and Carol Ann (Comeaux) Estes.  He graduated from Pflugerville High School.  Scott married Margie (Chesney) Estes on May 19, 1995, in Austin, Texas.Scott attended Texas State University studying psychology and geology. Scott and Margie met while working at Simon David when they were both attending school. They married in 1995, bought a house in Leander, and later moved to Pflugerville. In 2008 they relocated to Lubbock with their two daughters, Bailey, and Kendall.He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margie Estes, daughters, Bailey Estes, Kendall Estes; parents, Johnny, and Carol Estes; sister, Keri Herring and spouse Doug Herring, and nephews Aiden Herring, Connor Herring. He is also survived by Father-in-Law, Hank Chesney, and spouse Vickie Chesney; Mother-in-Law, Shelia Bailey; Brother-in-Law, Randy Chesney.
