Johnny Mac Cloud, 62, passed away peacefuly Thursday February 26, 2015. He was born April 4, 1952 in Lubbock to James and Blanche Marie Cloud. He married Kathy Dunn on February 26, 1972. Johnny attended Lubbock schools graduating from Cooper High School. He was a hot rod enthusiast who loved to race cars and go fast. He was employed with South Plains Electric Co-op for 36 years. Johnny was a loving “Pop” who enjoyed his family. He never met a stranger.
Survivors include his loving wife Kathy; daughters, Staci Thomas and hus-band Jeremy and Leslie Wint and husband Dale; mother, Marie Cloud; brothers, Jim Cloud and wife Paulette and Jack Cloud and wife Nan; grandchildren Landrie and Laynie Thomas, Austin and Brady Wint all of Lubbock. He was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Cloud.
Visitation will be tonight, February 27, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, February 28 at 10:00 am in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home follow by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
