Joyce Outka

She married Richard Outka September 6, 1970 in Menno, South Dakota. Joyce had retired from the State of Texas, Inspector General’s Office, where she investigated fraud.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lubbock where she was a choir member, a member of LWML and where she also took care of floral décor. Joyce was also a Foster Parent for Gingered Blessing, an animal rescue organization. Her passions in life were her grandsons, flowers, cooking and music.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Samuel.

Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Richard of Lubbock, two daughters; Sherry Peterson and husband Bill of Wichita Falls, and Kerry Brigance and husband Brandon of Lubbock, five grandson’s; Shane and Seth Peterson, and Brady, Hunter and Jaxx Brigance, and a brother, Earl Neutharth and wife Teresa of Menno, South Dakota.

Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church with interment following in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
