June was born on June 1, 1938 in Lubbock to the late Robert “Dutch” and Hallie (Higginbotham) Chesser. She attended school in Smyer where she graduated from High School in 1956. She later attended Draughones Business College. She worked in several industries but enjoyed caring for the home. She married Michael Humphrey on March 21, 1974 in Lubbock and they enjoyed 40 years of wonderful memories and love.
June was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed collecting bears, dolls, and ducks. She also enjoyed cross stitching. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband Michael Humphrey; children, Marty Humphrey of Fort Worth, Teresa Breaux of Lubbock and Michael Humphrey of Lubbock, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; her sister Glenda ( Doug) Goen of Olton; one niece Rhonda Pinkerton of Olton; one nephew Randy Goen of Olton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
